This is a simple "L" bracket to hold even a large feeder. It requires two pieces of 1" x 4" pine, and a 10" piece of 2" x 4" pine. The dimensions are shown below. The bracket is fastened with #8 x 1 5/8" drywall screws. The completed bracket can be attached to a tree, post, or other vertical object with 1/4" lag bolts.

The rounded ends are for aesthetic purposes, and not required. The hole locations are approximate.
